These are some pictures of the scaffolding surrounding the church they're remodeling up the road from us. Notice all the wood. You may have to click to enlarge to see the ladders,etc. These are actually quite sturdy boards compared to some we've seen!

What churches and faiths are in that region?
Mike & I are always kidding about the OSHA standards, or lack thereof. One clinic we went to have HUGE holes in the floor and all kinds of exposed wiring, that ran the entire length of the long, narrow hallway!
Okay and this has absolutely nothing to do with this post, but, I keep forgetting. You mentioned you and Brian like watching TV and that you're learning some Russian from it. Irina suggested that we watch cartoons since the language tends to be more simple, repetetive, and the dialogue slower. She was absolutely right! Try it out!
