6-hours and counting down

Ps 117 - Praise the Lord, all you nations, extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord.

It's 7:30am here in Moscow and I'm up, dressed, make-up'd and hair fixed (for what the hair fixing does...has a mind of it's own!) Waiting for breakfast to be delivered and then we'll get the final packing done and wait for what will seem an eternity. Then it's about an hour or less drive to the airport (prob less on a Sunday) where we'll get checked-in, go through security and passport control and then wait for the plane. I know these last hours until we're sitting on the 767 will seem to take forever but will go quickly too. We'll probably do alot of walking to tire Genya out and get our leg circulation going also for the long, long flight...

Genya did wake up at 6am today so maybe we will get him to sleep some on the plane? We can only hope...

Until the next posting from America... thank you for reading and watch for the "full updates" (not the Readers Digest Condensed versions) to be posted soon.

I bet the time will drag on, not just for you guys, but for your family and friends waiting for you, especially JJ.

Again, we wish we could be there. It has been a tremendous privledge to follow your journey!

So happy to met you guys and share in this last leg with you.

So glad you are almost home! Can't wait to hear all about your last few days and your reconciliation with JJ in detail!

2:20 am in Wisconsin. Still working, and thought I would check to see if you posted before you left. Have a good flight. It will be great to have you back. We will have to do some debriefing with Brian, but we'll give his body time to adjust.

I woke up several times in the night and each time I looked at the clock, I figured out what time it was in Moscow and how long before you'd be leaving for the airport.

How great will it be to sleep in your very own bed tonight? The old addage comes to my mind thinking of what today means for Genya "today is the first day of the rest of your life." While his life became infinitely better the day he left the home with you, he can't begin to imagine how much better it is going to get.

Continued heavely requests for a safe journey and once again - we'll see you soon.

Today's the day!!!!! You should be home by now. Wish we could have been there to welcome you home and hug your weary necks. Perhaps one day soon we'll have that chance! Praying for blessings and a quick recovery from jet lag...

Love,
