WE ARE LEAVING SUNDAY!!!!

Philip convinced the embassy to "overlook" this error - they didn't apparently know WHAT to think about it. He asked them to consider everything we've been through and they agreed. Tomorrow at 1pm we go to get the visa, etc. So now we can enjoy our afternoon.

These are short reports but I am blogging as usual on the laptop so once home, at the latest, i'll post those so you'll have LOTS of reading to do then!!

Met a couple in the lobby this morning back for a 2nd adoption - they said there is a park just up the street so we'll head there later today with Genya - get some energy off him. We all slept until 6:30am this morning...

Thank you - thank you to everyone for prayers and comments. I'm still crying with joy over being able to leave here!

We are leaving Sunday as that's when we could get seats out - Saturday wasn't available. Once I have the confirmation from the TA I'll post details...

Hey, did I mention - WE ARE FINALLY COMING HOME!!!!

FINALLY! The post we've been waiting for. It will be a long rest of the week but what joy in knowing you are not waiting for any decisions to be made anymore. Nothing could be better than getting on the plane to come home today, but that light at the end of the tunnel you mentioned last week must be much brighter for you today.

I think of you and your situation so often and become concerned about your circumstances and your demeanor. I am so thankful God has resolved all the obstacles you have faced. As much as the anticipation of coming home heightens by the hour for you, enjoy your new surroundings. I can't imagine the bear hug JJ has waiting for you!!!

Praise God from whom all blessings flow! We are so happy that you will be on your way home this Sunday. You will be flying into Chicago and then getting picked up from there? Or will you then fly into Milwaukee? Just thought we could welcome you in, if that works, otherwise we'll have to wait to see you another day....
Love,

Lots of excitement here this A.M. ! We were working on finishing some homework when Grandpa came and said to JJ, "They are coming home on Sunday!" Well he whooped and hollered and danced aorund the room, even started singing a little tune - coming home on Sunday...he has been in a very good mood today!
Thank you to all who have been praying for this little guy too - he has been such a brave little trooper! We are very proud of how he has handled having his world turned upside down for over 2 months!
Phone# for Deb and Brian in Moscow is 011-7-095-258-30-00 - then ask for "Ninmann", i.e. Nicholas - i - Nicholas - Mary - a - Nicholas - Nicholas! Remember that now they are 8 hours ahead of CDT!
As JJ said this morning, "Now all we have to do is pray for a safe flight for them." (and safe travel when we return with them from Chicago!)
The end of a chapter is coming soon...and the beginning of a wonderful book! At church this afternoon a nice lady told JJ, "You probably can't wait to give your brother lots of hugs and kisses." His reply, "Well, probably just a hug!" God be with you 'til we meet in Chicago! Love, mom
