Our last full day in Russia

We had a good visit to the zoo and the Metro was easy to figure out and fun to do also. Had Sbarro's pizza for dinner again tonight and have ordered room service for breakfast for tomorrow morning (for Brian and I, Genya can eat his normal fruit and yogurt!) Yes, the room service is a splurge but I feel we DESERVE IT after this length of stay!

Our bags are packed (almost) and we're ready to go (totally!) so I'll continue that song, Claudine!

On how to pronounce Genya's name -- it's like the G in giraffe but actually in Russian, and how he says it, it's ZHenya. He's taken to calling me "mom" and Brian is "pop" - so sometimes we call him "Jen" if that helps you know how to say it. He's not been "Nathan" much here in Moscow but we'll see what transitions once we get to America.

Elena called and Genya told her he could NOT understand why we weren't in America yet! She told him there were documents that needed to be done - he said he had all sorts of documents!!

I'm sure I'll post one more time before leaving here tomorrow - we're getting picked up at 10am our time... But if for some reason I don't continue those prayers for a safe flight, that Genya behaves reasonably well and that maybe we all can sleep a little so once we have our reunion with JJ and parents we won't be totally wiped out! LOL

Looking forward to being on American soil soon!!

So thankful that you'll be able to let those suitcases gather some dust for a while after tomorrow. Praying all goes well with the flight and the final leg of the long, long journey from Chicago to Husty.

SEE YOU SOON!!!!

We are REALLY looking forward to having you back on U.S. soil too!
Sleepover was great, all behaved so well and got along...helped keep JJ occupied. After guests left, I dropped JJ at D&D's for a few hours of play - they were overjoyed to see him, which is so nice. He had said that he wants to play with someone ALL DAY today! Later we will stop at the house for one final "check!" Good thing he stayed up until 12 last night, maybe he will sleep tonight! LOL Will you??? Will we?!?
Just saw WISCO take the WIAA State Championship-Div. 2 over Monroe - terrific game and Dave and family were there in person!
Hope his beautiful weather lasts for you! Will be hugging you in about 24 hours! Can you believe it?!?!?!? YEAH! God bless...mom
