Food pictures from today

Some of the raspberries we purchased today - the pictures doesn't do justice to their size (huge!)

Brian's pork and potatoes dinner

My chicken and veggies

The inside of the Russian Tea Room

Not sure why we didn't think of posting food pictures before?!? Brian actually thought of it - and he's the one who thinks I blog about food too much!

OH MY GOSH! I've been there for lunch! YEARS ago, with another adoptive family (who I can't remember thier name now, but they ended up disrupting the adoption) - was there with Lena too once.

They had THE BEST potato pancakes I can remember having. Seems like I also got some kind of mushroom thing in a cream sauce.

I can't believe Brian's meal had salsa? Have you been to the cuban restaurant? As close to mexican as we could find (years ago) - it was upstairs along Karl Marx. Not bad...

I bought raspberries for JJ at the Pig the other day (on sale, quite reasonable) He ate the whole container full in one sitting! Will buy more if they still have them tomorrow. Have blackberries for a surprise tonight (with HOMEMADE pizza)so see if he likes them as well!
I will take his pic tonight - he had a "trim" not a cut! He loved it at Karen's Final Cut - played with Transformers for about 15 minutes before he got into the chair- she is so patient. He sat great too - afterward he said he LOVES this place and wants to go back there for HCTs!
Tonight we will frost a few MD heart cookies, for his party - I did most with red sprinkles but he wants to decorate some, I'm sure it won't be many! Then we will write names on his valentines for the class. It sounds like every Mom is sending some sweets for the party!
Samantha is coming here after school today, Jack and Hallie are also here. JJ likes the company!
Keeping you in prayer, love,mom

I am so jealous of your raspberry eating. I have been so hungry but I cannot find them anywhere. That is all. Lots of love and God's Blessings as Nathan is finally coming home.

Wow! Vot! I'm so envious! The last time I was in Russia I was trapped in Cheremkhovo World. The time before that we were "lucky" to be experiencing one of the weeks that had record breaking 104 - 106 degree weather EVERYDAY! We were in an apartment on the 7th floor (heat rises, so, our apartment was around 110!)with one - I repeat - ONE - oscillating fan and two over active children. We bought many bath toys for them because that was what they did a lot of! They play in tepid water (and loved it) several times a day.
Tell Brian there's no possible way that anyone can talk too much about food. I'm loving it!
I'm looking forard to hearing about your time with Genya (Nathan). God Bless You - Widna
