Few more thoughts

We left the apartment and took a final walk down to the river – Genya threw some coins in and we took a picture. I told him to tell it "da svidana". We then went to dinner across the street – our favorite (usual) waitress was there. She read our note and then there was another customer in there who could apparently understand and write engloish so she had that lady write us a note – it almost made me cry! It said we were their favorite clients and hopes that we come back sometime (among other things)… so nice! Dinner was great as usual. At the end I tried to order one ice cream for us to share with three spoons – this was to the gal who doesn't speak English – well we got three ice creams! You should have seen Genya's face when it came – priceless!!

Back at the apartment Genya got his final bath here – we watched Monsters, Inc one more time and I called Tami J to say goodbye… The suitcases are all ready for the final items in the morning… Genya is not real sleepy yet so he'll be tired in the morning! We're not worried about us being awake, more so that Andrew and the taxi is on time LOL!!

Genya told the waitress in Russian that tomorrow he's going on an airplane to Moscow – then back at home later he said the same thing to us and then says "yeah, yeah" and hugs and kisses me… he's so excited over it – but we wonder if he still thinks he's flying the plane?!?!?

Maybe he will get a chance to fly the plane. Who knows? Miracles happen... ;>

What a nice way to say goodbye to IRK.

It was kind of a lost week end for me so I had some catching up to do today. How wonderful that it is all good news! I'm thinking there must be that little question mark in the back of your heads after everything that has happened (or rather not happened in a timely manner), but chase those thoughts away!! After all this time JJ may not want to share you for a couple of days, but now he will have a constant companion to help occupy his time and play with.

Prayers now include safe travels, not one more single delay and for a happy reunion with the rest of your family soon. Will also add prayers of thanksgiving for getting to this point.

Looking forward to sharing that "special" coffee.

You are really in the home stretch now. We can't wait to hear that you are in Moscow and then soon you'll be on a plane home!

Prayers for safe travels and happy reunions!

I believe I am writing this an hour before you head for the airport. You probably didn't sleep, excited about the next leg of this journey. Take care. Enjoy every confusing, fatigued moment. God bless you.

"All good things come to those who wait", for Christ to work his plan. You will be home before you know it. What an adventure you have experienced, and were good enough to shared it with us. What jubilation there will be in Husty and in heaven. I will pray to Jesus and Saint Christopher, for your safe arrival home.

Well I would guess that you are up or about to get up, and head to the airport. You're on your way to Moscow!!! YAY!!! Can you believe it's finally here? SO happy for you! Hurray!

We're so glad you are able to make the next stop to Moscow. One Step Closer!! Yeah!!! What a journey and experience you've had. We're guessing you're looking forward to the comforts of the hotel. Quite a change from your "home away from home" over the past two months! Thanks again for keeping us all up to date, and may God bless your travels!

Hi Debbie, Brian and Nathan! We are getting so excited for you all to get home too! One day I took out the picture of JJ holding baby Jett when you guys were here in AZ and told Cooper the story of bringing Nathan home...so we've been saying a special prayer each night for "JJ's brother in Russia"!! It's pretty cute! We will be in Wisconsin again in July, so we will hope to meet our new cousin then!
It's been pretty hot here the last few days - 82 today! We went to a spring training game today! Steven really wanted to take Cooper to a game, so we all went as a family! The Brewers played the Cubs and we had a blast! The boys ate so much junk food and had such a good time, it was so nice to see them in sheer bliss all afternoon!!! They should sleep well tonight!
We love you all so much and pray for your safe travels too!
Love,
Leanne and the boys in Arizona!

So sweet! Leaving is a little bitter-sweet isn't it? Of course, lots more sweet than bitter, but still it's like you're leaving home.
